Little Oaks is a family owned nursery on Harrogate Road, open since 2007. We care for children from 6 months to 5 years, cook fresh lunches on site, and have a big garden to play in.
Ofsted rated good
Our last inspection was in March 2025. We are proud of our good rating and always working to do even better.
A safe, qualified team
Every member of staff is DBS checked and trained in paediatric first aid. Our ratios are always better than required.
Fresh lunches on site
We cook fresh lunches in our own kitchen every day. The menus change with the seasons, so there is always something new.

A room for every stage
Children move gently through three rooms as they grow, from babies to school ready. Each one has its own team and its own space.
Acorns
Our baby room, for 6 to 24 months. Cuddles, sensory play and calm routines that follow your baby, not the clock.

A big garden, with a mud kitchen
Children learn so much outdoors, so our garden is a big part of every day. There is space to run, dig, splash and build.
The mud kitchen is a favourite. It is where a puddle becomes soup and a stick becomes a spoon. Rain or shine, we wrap up and get outside.

They knew our little one by name from day one. She skips in every morning, and that tells us everything.
